Research Projects

The Laidlaw Leadership and Research Programme provides an opportunity for Scholars to undertake a unique research project and participate in bespoke leadership training. After researching full-time over the summer months, Scholars are encouraged to share their results more widely with the academic community and the wider public. All Scholars produce a poster of their research. In addition, you can often find additional ways of engagement from articles published in research journals, conference presentations, videos, essays, blogs, and many more. A list of the projects can be viewed below, with examples of posters and some of the other fantastic work by the St Andrews Laidlaw Scholars collated on the main Laidlaw Scholar Network.
